Oliver Forrester & Dominic Fletcher are a playwriting duo from Birmingham. They seek to create skewed reflections of reality with their state-of-the-nation satire. At once hilarious and harrowing, their work challenges audiences to consider the absurd consequences of contemporary British culture. Every last word of their work is written collaboratively.

Forrester & Fletcher have been writing together since 2008. One Year Off was their first full-length play, which ran at Birmingham’s Old Joint Stock theatre, Coventry’s Belgrade theatre and Islington’s Old Red Lion. The satirical play, in which football is banned in the UK for one year, was described by The Upcoming as ‘a witty, perceptive, exceptional satire of our culture and its eccentricities’.
The pair are currently working on a new play set in the forgotten seaside town of Redcar.
